Roma could reignite their interest in Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko. The Russian has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane after the arrival of Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane and Jermain Defoe this year. Roma had cooled their interest but they are now back in for Pavlyuchenko, according to the newspaper Il Tempo. The Italian club's sporting director Daniele Prade is set to open talks with Tottenham over a deal. Pavlyuchenko could initially head to Rome on a one-year loan, although boss Harry Redknapp is keen to boost his transfer kitty.
