ShareRobbie Keane's move to Blackburn could be back on as Rovers boss Steve Kean considers upping his bid for the Tottenham striker.

Spurs have rejected a ?2million bid for the Republic of Ireland international, hoping Kean will move his valuation closer to the ?6m deal originally agreed with West Ham.

Keane's move to Upton Park collapsed when the club were relegated and he knows he is surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane and will face another season on the bench unless he can find a new team.

Rovers' owners Venkys have promised Kean a ?20million transfer kitty, plus whatever he can make in sales, but will have to increase their bid for the Spurs forward to at least ?4m to entice the club to sell.

Blackburn are to thought to be considering doubling their ?6m offer for Freiburg striker Papiss Cisse to ?12m in a bid to beat off interest from Lokomotiv Moscow and Zenit St Petersberg.
