Arjen Robben has vowed to fight for his place at Real Madrid and will only leave to join a club playing in the UEFA Champions League. Reports have suggested that Real could look to offload the Dutch winger following the raft of big-name arrivals at the Santiago Bernabeu over the summer. Robben, along with compatriots Royston Drenthe, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart and Ruud van Nistelrooy, is facing a battle to secure regular first-team football under new coach Manuel Pellegrini. The former Chelsea wide man has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be showing an interest. However, Robben has again ruled out a move to White Hart Lane and remains determined to establish himself in Pellegrini's plans this season. "With all the respect in the world, I have decided not to join Tottenham," said Robben in The Sun. "For the moment I want to fight for my place at Real Madrid and want to focus all my attentions on my preparations. "I hope to achieve a lot with Real Madrid this season. The only thing I would consider is a move to another club in the Champions League."
