Harry Redknapp has hit out at the 'crazy juggling act' he has been forced to perform with his squad as Tottenham[LNB]begin a grueling schedule of six games in 17 days at Shakhtar Donetsk. [LNB]The UEFA Cup has clearly been pushed on to the back burner by Redknapp, who left six first-team players behind in London in addtion to cup-tied trio Robbie Keane, Vedran Corluka and Roman Pavlyuchenko. [LNB]Redknapp is in no mood to risk his star names coming a cropper in the Ukraine with even his most experienced available striker, Darren Bent, unlikely to start. [LNB]The pitch at the RSC Olympiyskiy Stadium has taken the full force of an Eastern European winter and Redknapp groaned: 'I didn't want to risk Wilson Palacios or Luka Modric. We've got six games in such a short space of time. When you see that pitch out there - it's just poor. That's what you get out there this time of year. You wouldn't play on a non-League pitch like that. [LNB] Chance to shine: Mexican Giovani dos Santos has struggled to win a first team place since his summer arrival but he will get a chance to impress in Ukraine[LNB] 'We get back at 5am on Friday morning, Hull Monday night, Shakhtar on Thursday then the final. Then we play Wednesday and Saturday. [LNB]'It's crazy the way they have piled the fixtures. After that you've got three weeks between every game.' [LNB]Jonathan Woodgate and Carlo Cudicini also stayed behind while Ledley King is only now returning to fitness after hamstring trouble. [LNB]That said, Spurs' crammed calendar affords some of Redknapp's youngsters the chance to prove themselves in what are sure to be testing conditions. [LNB]'I'm looking forward to seeing what the lads can do,' he added. [LNB]'Some of them need a game and it's an opportunity for them. Pascal Chimbonda needs to play, Fraizer Campbell needs to play and so does Giovani dos Santos. [LNB]There will also be a first-team debut for 17-year-old Dean Parrett, who joins seven other academy hopefuls on the trip. [LNB]Redknapp added: 'I brought a few of the kids and I'm thinking about giving one a start. Parrett's been playing well in the youth team.
