Redknapp unimpressed by Defoe
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has admitted he has been disappointed with England striker Jermain Defoe's recent performances.[LNB] Spurs ended their Premier League campaign with a 4-2 defeat at Burnley on Sunday and Defoe was once again subsituted as his troubles in front of goal continued.[LNB]The 27-year-old has scored just twice in his last 13 outings and Redknapp has expressed concerns about his form.[LNB]"I wanted more from him than what he was giving," said Redknapp. "His form's not been so good lately so I've taken him off when he's not played well. It's private between me and him how he's playing."[LNB]
