Redknapp tells Capello: The best is yet to come from injury-prone King
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes injury-prone defender Ledley King still has an important role to play in the club's bid to break into the top four this season, despite his latest sideline setback.[LNB]Best is yet to come: Redknapp backs injured King[LNB]The White Hart Lane boss expects to be without King for a 'few weeks' after the centre-half suffered a recurrence of a hamstring problem during the 2-0 win over Sunderland before the international break two weeks ago.[LNB]Although England boss Fabio Capello has ended the 29-year-old's distant hopes of making next year's World Cup in South Africa, Redknapp is confident King still has a bright future in the game at international level and at Spurs, with whom his contract expires next summer.[LNB]'I still value him very highly. He is a fantastic player when fit, up there with the best there is,' said Redknapp, who has the option to offer King an extended one-year deal.
