Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hailed his side after powering to the top of the Barclays Premier League with a crushing 5-1 win at Hull. England striker Jermain Defoe fired a hat-trick while Wilson Palacios and Robbie Keane also found the target at the KC Stadium. Stephen Hunt briefly offered Hull a lifeline but Spurs' second victory from their opening two games was rarely in doubt. Redknapp said: "It was a terrific exhibition of attacking football. The movement, passing, pace - I played with four forwards and really took it to them. We looked dangerous every time we had the ball."
