Redknapp reveals Defoe is close to return after murder of star's half-brother
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that striker Jermain Defoe is coping admirably well with the horrific murder of his half-brother last week.[LNB]Jade Defoe, 26, fell into a coma following a street attack in Leytonstone, east London, and died last Friday. A man has been remanded in custody over the attack.[LNB]The Tottenham star left training early last Friday to be at his hospital bedside and missed the 5-2 loss to Manchester United at the weekend.
