Harry Redknapp has welcomed the news that Benoit Assou-Ekotto has been let off the hook in his bust-up with a Tottenham fan. [LNB]The supporter has withdrawn his assault allegations, after claims that Assou-Ekotto lashed out after being branded 's***' following Saturday's defeat against Wolves.[LNB]Spurs manager Redknapp told the Sun: 'I'm just glad sense has prevailed. Benoit is a gentle kid.'
