Redknapp not fussed by Fulop decision

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp insists he has no problem with Manchester City being allowed to sign goalkeeper Marton Fulop on loan.[LNB] City were given special dispensation to draft in Fulop on an emergency loan from Sunderland after losing No.1 Shay Given to a serious shoulder injury.[LNB]It was suggested Tottenham were unhappy that the Premier League had allowed City to bring in a new goalkeeper as both sides battle it out to finish in fourth spot and secure a lucrative Champions League berth.[LNB]Fulop is set to face former club Spurs next week in the potentially decisive game between the two sides at Eastlands next Wednesday, but Redknapp is adamant he is not bothered by the decision to allow City to sign the keeper.[LNB]Redknapp, writing in his column in The Sun, said: "Whether Fulop should have been allowed to sign on loan from Sunderland doesn't really bother me. [LNB]"Because in my view City have lost Shay Given for the run-in and he is irreplaceable. [LNB]"Shay is different class and his injury is a huge blow - where do you find someone of similar quality to fill his place at such short notice? [LNB]"I would have been far more upset had City been allowed to recall Joe Hart from his loan at Birmingham. As an England keeper you don't want to be facing him. [LNB]"To me it's no big deal Marton is going to Eastlands. If we win two more games then Aston Villa and Liverpool cannot finish above us and take fourth space. That still leaves the threat from City. [LNB]"But to be fair, who would have tipped us to be above Liverpool at this stage of the season?"
