Harry Redknapp admitted to being thrilled at the prospect of facing former club Portsmouth in the FA Cup semi finals at Wembley next month. Tottenham progressed to the last four with a 3-1 sixth round replay win against Fulham at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night much to the delight of the Spurs boss. "They are a great club with great supporters," he said. "It will be a real good day and a great atmosphere. "Avram Grant texted me and said he hopes we win every game except the semi-final. "I know some of the boys there like Hermann Hreidarssom, King Kanu, Richard Hughes and David James. It'll be good to see them. "It'll be a funny day, a strange day. They have great support and it'll be a great atmosphere. "It will be great for them. They need something to lift their season."
