Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has told Ledley King not to be too hard on himself following his first England appearance for three years.[LNB] The centre-back made his return to the international scene with a full 90-minute run-out in Monday's World Cup warm-up win over Mexico at Wembley.[LNB]King scored the Three Lions' first goal in the 3-1 victory, but his defending was not always entirely convicing and he was critical of his own performance.[LNB]Redknapp, though, believes the 29-year-old had a decent game and should not worry too much.[LNB]"Ledley is being too hard on himself. He made one or two mistakes, but he played well," said the Spurs boss in The Sun.[LNB]"If it wasn't for Ledley's bad knees, he would easily get into any team in the world.[LNB]"He is a fantastic footballer and deserves to be at the World Cup."
