Redknapp lauds Spurs style
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes his team are carrying on the tradition of style associated with some of the club's greatest sides.
Spurs remain in the hunt for a Champions League place and Redknapp is pleased with the playing style they have adopted this term.
"Sometimes I sit there and I like watching us play, the way we move the ball, the movement we get - I enjoy it," said Redknapp. "And when you are the manager and you've got players playing like that it's a lovely feeling.
"You can go and win games but I haven't got a team that just kick it up the field and scramble it. We pass the ball great, and players like Tom Huddlestone, Luka Modric and Niko Kranjcar are fantastic passers of the ball.
"That's how I like my teams to play and I don't know any other way really. And I think Spurs has always had that tradition. We were the original push and run team under Arthur Rowe, when they played pass and move. Now that may have been 1950 but the same principles still apply now.
"You pass and move, make another angle, make a different position and that's how we play - we're always moving, making angles for each other, and we pass the ball and I enjoy watching us play that way."
