Redknapp keeping busy with plans to lure Fulham star Schwarzer to Spurs

Tottenham could make a bid for Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer this summer. The Australia international has enjoyed a fine season with Fulham following his free transfer from Middlesbrough. Golden oldie: Mark Schwarzer has impressed at Fulham Schwarzer signed a two-year deal last summer and has been in inspirational form for Fulham as they chase a place in next season's Europa League and a best ever top flight finish. According to reports in The Sun, Spurs could land the 36-year-old for just £500,000 to put pressure on current No 1 Heurelho Gomes. Any move for Schwarzer would signal the end of Carlo Cudicini's brief White Hart Lane career. Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill is also monitoring the situation.
