Redknapp: I Want Roman To Stay

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp expects Roman Pavlyuchenko to be at the club next season - and his winner against West Ham means he could be playing European football.[LNB]Pavlyuchenko struck midway through the second half at White Hart Lane, nine minutes after coming off the bench, to keep alive Spurs' hopes of finishing seventh in the Barclays Premier League.[LNB]It was the Russia striker's 14th of the season - a campaign in which he has struggled to adapt to the English game.[LNB]But Redknapp wants to keep him at the club.[LNB]The Spurs boss, when asked if Pavlyuchenko would remain at Spurs in the summer, said: "Of course, I want to keep all my best players.[LNB]"He's done okay to be fair. He scored some decent goals at home but I feel he is capable of more because he is an excellent player.[LNB]"There is more adjusting to do but technically he is a top-class player.[LNB]"Sometimes he gets brushed off too easily and has to work harder for the team."[LNB]
