Redknapp happy with draw

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp admitted that a draw was a fair result after their exciting clash with Chelsea ended 1-1.

Spurs took the lead through Roman Pavlyuchenko in the first half, before Didier Drogba levelled midway through the second period. And the Ivorian had the chance to win it, but saw his late penalty saved by Heurelho Gomes.

"They pressed us in the second half, their mindset was to come on to us and we took a backwards step," he said on Sky Sports.

"I told them we had to keep being positive but credit to Chelsea, they're champions and they don't give up. "Gomes has done great for us and it was a great save. "It was a good, open game. They attacked us and we attacked them. It was an open game. "It says that we're as good a side as almost anybody. We'll only get stronger."
