Redknapp desperate to land signings

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes "anything could happen" this season if he manages to sign the three players he has heart set on.[LNB] Spurs broke the top-four monopoly in the Premier League last season and Redknapp is excited about what they can achieve in the forthcoming campaign.[LNB]He has only added Sandro so far, though, and has voiced his frustration at the slowness of the transfer market, admitting he is "nowhere near" to getting in the players he wants.[LNB]However, if he can get them in Redknapp believes the sky is the limit for Spurs.[LNB]He told Sky Sports News: "With three players - not massive signings, not big money - just the players I really want, if I could manage to pull them off then anything could happen with Tottenham this year. I think the potential here is fantastic.[LNB]One player Redknapp has been linked with is Craig Bellamy but the Spurs boss is not sure whether Manchester City would sell the striker.[LNB]Redknapp also refused to be drawn on speculation linking him with a swoop for Bellamy's City team-mate Micah Richards.[LNB]"I like Bellamy but if Manchester City don't want to sell him...[LNB]"He is a player I've been after before when he went to Man City. They belong to Man City, it's not really fair to talk about other people's players. [LNB]"They're at Man City at the moment and until they decide they want to sell them then there's nothing you can do with anybody."[LNB]Redknapp has not legislated for the loss of Robbie Keane in his transfer plans but admitted he would be prepared to sell the Irishman to raise funds.[LNB]He said: "Last year suddenly Robbie wasn't in the side and I could see he wasn't happy. Robbie Keane is a fantastic professional. I still think he's a great player.[LNB]"He's been our best player in pre-season. He's the brightest trainer, comes in every day and works his socks off, wants to play, loves to do well. He's a player you don't want to lose.[LNB]"I really want to keep him because he's difficult to replace but if you want to buy players you've got to raise some money from somewhere. If Robbie's maybe one of a few who you can sell, then maybe that happens."[LNB]Spurs' immediate focus turns to their Champions League qualifier against Young Boys on August 17 and Redknapp says progressing to the competition's main phase is top priority.[LNB]But he insisted attention would not wane in the Premier League and backed his team to make a title tilt should they recruit the players he believes can see them progress.[LNB]He said: "We want to stay in that Champions League, that's going to be very important for us. We've got to get through this first game and into the group stages then the Premier League is really massive as well for us.[LNB]"We've got to have a good go in that again this year. It's a funny situation. I speak to the chairman and we're trying to do one or two things and it's difficult at the moment. [LNB]"But if we could get a couple of players in that I really want I think anything could happen and we could move on and be real challengers for the championship."
