Peter Crouch can be England's 'super starter' in the World Cup, according to  Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.[LNB]The Spurs striker came off the bench to score two goals against Egypt on  Wednesday night but his club manager thinks he is good enough to start for his  country in South Africa.[LNB]Redknapp said: 'He could be England's super sub or super starter - I think he's capable of both. He'll score goals whether he starts or comes off the bench.  [LNB] Tall order: Club boss Harry Redknapp thinks Peter Crouch can play a vital role for his country in this summer's World Cup.... but he might not start for Spurs this weekend because of the form of Roman Pavlyuchenko (below)[LNB]'He's a good all-round player and his goal record with England is superb. He's a must now, to go (to South Africa), and he's bang in the driving seat to have a chance to start, I would imagine.[LNB]'It was great to see Crouchy come on and score his goals (on Wednesday night). He took both goals really well and led the line great. You'll always get an honest performance from Crouchy - he's a fantastic person as well. [LNB]'He'll never  let you down and always do the job.[LNB]'When we took him to Portsmouth to QPR, if you'd have said he would play for England people probably would've laughed at you. But he's done fantastic.' [LNB]Yet, despite bagging two goals in England's 3-1 win earlier this week, Crouch may be relegated to the bench for Tottenham's FA Cup quarter-final against Fulham on Saturday, owing to the sparkling recent form of Roman Pavlyuchenko.[LNB]First-choice striker Jermain Defoe is, however, rated as 50-50 for the clash at Craven Cottage after aggravating a hamstring strain at Wembley on Wednesday.[LNB] JAMIE REDKNAPP: He's a funny shape, does a robot dance and has a nice line in laughing at himself but the stats prove Peter Crouch is... an England giantPeter Crouch - why he should and should not lead England's attack at the World CupFulham v TOTTENHAM: Jermain Defoe a major doubt for Harry Redknapp's injury hit sideEXCLUSIVE: Joe Cole faces Chelsea exit as Roman baulks at wage demandsPremier League reject plan for play-off to decide final Champions League spotFabio Capello and England's chosen ones for South AfricaTOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FC
