Harry Redknapp will ask Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to agree a price with Portsmouth for Peter Crouch if Darren Bent's £12million transfer to Sunderland is completed. Redknapp is desperate to be reunited with the striker he signed for Southampton and Portsmouth. Heading to London: Portsmouth are losing striker Peter Crouch Crouch originally came through the ranks of Spurs' academy system but never played for the first team and joined Queens Park Rangers for £60,000 in 2000. A £12m return to White Hart Lane beckons and Redknapp said: 'I have signed Crouchy a couple of times. If Portsmouth want to sell we could be interested. 'It depends on everything about price and other things. Everyone has their price and it would be up to the chairman and Portsmouth to sort out a price. I love Crouchy but we will have to wait and see.' Redknapp would like his Portsmouth strike duo of Crouch and Jermain Defoe at Tottenham. Fulham are also interested in the lanky striker but Crouch would prefer to work with Redknapp again.
