Rafael van der Vaart: I want to stay at Tottenham forever

Rafael van der Vaart has pledged his long-term future to Tottenham and claims he wants to see out his playing days at White Hart Lane. [LNB]The Dutchman has been a revelation since his £8million switch from Real Madrid and is loving every minute of his time in north London. [LNB]He said: 'I love it here. I love the players and I love the down-to-earth attitude at the club.[LNB] He's all Vaart: Rafa's so happy with life Spurs he wants to end his career there[LNB]'If I have the opportunity, I would stay here for the rest of my career.'[LNB]Van der vaart has bagged 11 goals in all competitions and the Holland international is relishing the battle with league leaders Manchester United on Sunday.[LNB]'Tottenham-United is the biggest game of the Premier League this season' he said. 'Not only for us at Spurs but for all the Premier League because United are unbeaten.[LNB]'If we beat them, it opens up the league for everyone else who is chasing the title. And that includes us - we've got the squad to win the league.'[LNB]He has also welcomed welcomed former United legend David Beckham to Spurs who started training with the club at the start of the week.[LNB]He told The Sun: 'I've had one training session with David and it's nice to have him around. He's a great player and a great ambassador for the game.'
