QPR land Taarabt on loan

Queens Park Rangers have signed Adel Taarabt on loan from Premier League side Tottenham.[LNB] The teenager is set to remain at Loftus Road until the end of the season and goes straight into Paulo Sousa's squad for Saturday's clash with Southampton.[LNB]The Morocco international is delighted to have joined the Rs and is relishing the prospect of regular first team football in the Championship.[LNB]"Harry Redknapp told me that Tottenham are not really in a position to give young players like me an opportunity right now, and he said that QPR were keen on me," Taarabt told the club's official website.[LNB]Experience"He told me to come here and show what I can do. As soon as he told me about the move, I was interested.[LNB]"Other Championship clubs came in for me also, but QPR is a team that plays football in the way that I like to play it, so this is why I wanted to come here.[LNB]"I said 'yes' straight away.
