Pompey target Spurs duo

Portsmouth have agreed a fee with Tottenham for Kevin-Prince Boateng and enquired about taking Jamie O'Hara on loan. Pompey boss Paul Hart is scouring the transfer market as he bids to bolster his squad and he is hoping to lure midfield duo O'Hara and Boateng to Fratton Park. Boateng, who joined Tottenham in 2007, is well down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and spent last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund. The 22-year-old is believed to be surplus to requirements and Harry Redknapp is willing to let him move on. Portsmouth are believed to have agreed a fee in the region of £4million for the Germany Under 21 international with the player currently holding talks and undergoing a medical at Fratton Park. O'Hara is down the pecking order for a place in the Spurs midfield and he could be interested in a loan switch in search of regular first-team football. Redknapp admitted that he was reluctant to let O'Hara go, but is happy to let him join his old club on loan. "Jamie's a terrific player but needs to play games and I'll let him go to Portsmouth on loan. He'll do a great job for them," said Redknapp.
