Peter Crouch can't wait to kick-start Tottenham's Champions League campaign

Peter Crouch wants to use his Champions League experience to help Tottenham make the most of their first ever run out in Europe's premier competition.[LNB]The striker reached the final in 2007 while at Liverpool and cannot wait to start a new journey with Spurs, the club at which he started his career. [LNB]It was Crouch's headed goal against Manchester City at the tail-end of last season which secured Tottenham's passage into the qualifying round, a feat he bettered with a decisive hat-trick against Young Boys last month. [LNB] On target: Peter Crouch scored the hat-trick which fired Tottenham into the Champions League proper[LNB]The north Londoner's Champions League campaign kicks off on Tuesday against German outfit Werder Bremen, before ties against FC Twente and defending champions Inter Milan.[LNB]'It is really exciting to be a part of it,' Crouchy said. 'I felt when I signed here that we had a fantastic squad and one capable of challenging for the top places and it has proved to be the case.[LNB] Experience: Crouch has scored a hat-trick for Liverpool in the Champions League[LNB]'Finishing fourth last year was a fantastic achievement but obviously we have got the added bonus this year of the Champions League.[LNB]'I was lucky enough to play in the Champions League before with Liverpool.
