Stuart Pearce has added Danny Rose and Richard Stearman to his U21 European Championship squad. The England U21 boss has been forced to call upon reinforcements after suffering two withdrawals last week. Newcastle defender, and U21 skipper, Steven Taylor was the first to go as he failed to shake of a niggling Achilles problem. Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has also been forced to pull out of the upcoming tournament with a knee complaint. As a result, Tottenham midfielder Rose and Wolves defender Stearman have been brought in to cover their absence. Pearce's youngsters finalise their preparations for their trip to Sweden next Monday with a friendly fixture against Azerbaijan. They will then head out to Scandinavia in pursuit of continental glory, with Sky Sports customers able to watch every minute of their title tilt exclusively live.
