Pav's agent rules out Spurs exit

Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent claims the striker will not be leaving Tottenham this summer, saying he is "necessary for Harry Redknapp".[LNB] The 28-year-old Russia international has been linked with a move out of White Hart Lane, after not featuring as a first-team regular last season.[LNB]Moscow clubs Spartak and Lokomotiv are reportedly tracking the forward, as are fellow Russian outfit Zenit St Petersburg and Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.[LNB]Pavlyuchenko made just eight Premier League starts last term but his agent Oleg Artemov says he is still in Harry Redknapp's plans.[LNB]"Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is not going to let Roman leave, he is necessary for Harry Redknapp," he said in the Daily Star.[LNB]"Roman himself does not want to leave England but, if that does happen, he will return to a Russian club. [LNB]"We have noted information appeared regarding the possible departure of the striker. Among contenders were Sporting Lisbon and Spartak Moscow. [LNB]"But I did not see any movement from Spartak - there were no specifics. [LNB]"Interest from both Zenit and Lokomotiv, as was reported in Britain, was nothing."
