Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent expects to reopen negotiations over the Tottenham Hotspur striker's proposed moved to Zenit St Petersburg. Oleg Artemov says he knows nothing of interest from Fulham, but insists there will be many suitors in January if Pavlyuchenko fails to break into the Spurs team. The Russia striker came close to returning home in August but was told he was still part of Harry Redknapp's plans. The 27-year-old has made only one start, in the Carling Cup, and Artemov says there is no point holding further talks with the White Hart Lane boss at the moment. 'Doing that would be useless,' said the agent. 'We had a conversation with him (Redknapp) in August. We'll talk more, later, closer to the winter transfer window.' Spurs paid Spartak Moscow £13.8million for Pavlyuchenko in the summer of 2008. Ukraine v England They were asking for a higher price amid interest from Spartak and Zenit St Petersburg earlier this season, but both rated him around £10m. Zenit remain keen and Artemov said: 'Pavlyuchenko does not intend to sit on the bench. We are aware of Zenit's interest. They wanted to sign Roman in summer. I think we'll come back to negotiations about this possibility in the winter. 'Maybe we'll change the country. There are several clubs, in which Roman is interested.' Pavlyuchenko is in Moscow with the Russia squad to face Germany and he has already been warned his lack of match practice may mean he is left out for the crunch World Cup qualifier.
