Roman Pavlyuchenko is set for talks about his Tottenham Hotspur future after returning from international duty with Russia. The 27-year-old's agent Oleg Artemov is flying to London to clear up whether his player has a chance to resurrect his career at White Hart Lane. Artemov last week said there would be no point holding new talks with boss Harry Redknapp until closer to the transfer window, but he has been convinced to change his stance amid Pavlyuchenko's fears that he will miss out on the World Cup if he doesn't get first-team football. Talks in August concluded with Redknapp saying the former SpartakMoscow striker was very much in his plans, but Pavlyuchenko has playedless than half an hour of Premier League football this season and hasbeen also struggling with injuries. 'We'll fly to London together,' said Artemov. 'I think that now there will be tougher talks with representatives from Tottenham in order to get a definite answer.' Spartak and Zenit St Petersburg are both keen to sign him if the price is right in the winter transfer window, but AC Milan have also emerged as suitors. The Italians are pondering an offer of Holland striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in exchange for Pavlyuchenko and defender Gareth Bale, which Artemov admits would be an intriguing prospect. 'This is early information,' said Artemov . 'I've called friends in Italy and soon I will hear back whether such an exchange is really possible or just a rumour. 'Of course, the option with Milan would be interesting for everyone: the player, the agent and the club who are selling.'
