Russia striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has been assured that he does have a future at White Hart Lane beyond the end of this season after the player's agent revealed he held crunch talks with Spurs manager Harry Redknapp. Oleg Artemov confirmed he held a meeting with the Tottenham boss at which he was assured the 27-year-old will remain at the north London club next season. Artemov said that Redknapp denied he wanted Pavlyuchenko to be sold or loaned out after the summer break. He spoke out as one Moscow newspaper, Tvoi Den, claimed that Spartak may try and bring the striker back to Russia on loan.
