Spartak Moscow have admitted they want to re-sign Roman Pavlyuchenko from Tottenham. [LNB]The 29-year-old has threatened to quit Spurs unless he gets more first-team action and Spartak would welcome back a player they sold for ?13.8million after Euro 2008.[LNB] Russian clubs can continue to sign players until March 10 and Spartak have been linked with Lazio striker Mauro Zarate and Fenerbahce's Daniel Guiza, but sporting director Dmitry Popov is more keen on Pavlyuchenko. [LNB] Frustrated: Pavlyuchenko wants more time on the pitch for Tottenham[LNB]'Roman, of course, is a player of high quality,' said Popov. 'In the Russian championship he would score consistently. He's a national team player, so it's understandable that he'd be interesting to us.[LNB] 'But another thing is the price put on him by Tottenham. Last year we made and official offer for Pavlyuchenko but didn't get a reply from the London club.' [LNB]Spartak would rather buy now, but Pavlyuchenko has been told to stay put until the summer and is keen to stay in the Barclays Premier League. [LNB]There is plenty of interest among Russia's top clubs, but the player's agent Oleg Artemov said: 'There is no chance that Pavlyuchenko will move from White Hart Lane until the end of the season.[LNB] 'After the end of the season I will meet with Tottenham again and we will discuss Roman's future. His deal is expiring in June 2012 so we will have time to discuss it. [LNB]'Of course Pavlyuchenko has read in newspapers about Spurs' failed bids on (Sergio) Aguero and other strikers, but he doesn't pay attention to them. The main thing for him is to play. [LNB]'Roman got a chance to play for 20 minutes and he made an assist in crucial moment of the game against Bolton.'  [LNB] Pav staying put for now: Spurs striker told to wait despite Russian interest Use me or lose me!
