Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko expects to remain at the club next season and claims he has been given assurances about his future at White Hart Lane. Pavlyuchenko has been in and out of team in his rookie campaign in the Barclays Premier League and his agent recently met boss Harry Redknapp, with the Russia striker confident he is still in the Spurs boss' plans. "I am a Tottenham player and want to remain one," Pavlyuchenko said in Russian newspaper Sport Express. "All these talks about a sale or loan don't bother me." The 27-year-old, however, did admit he questioned his future when he turned out for the reserves. He added: "Of course it is not pleasant to be in the reserves. When I did not play for several matches I started to think everything over and to tell the truth I had some disturbing thoughts."
