Pav future appears bright

Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent has held clear-the-air discussions with Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.[LNB] The Russia international has been the centre of much transfer speculation of late, with uncertainty surrounding his future at White Hart Lane.[LNB]He only joined Spurs from Spartak Moscow last summer, but has endured a difficult first season in England.[LNB]That had led to talk of a reported move elsewhere at the end of the current campaign, despite the player reiterating his commitment to the Tottenham cause.[LNB]Talks regarding the distracting situation have now been held between the player's representative and the club, with the outcome suggesting that Pavlyuchenko remains part of Redknapp's long-term plans.[LNB]"The conversation was quite detailed and, importantly, very useful," Pavlyuchenko's agent Oleg Artemov told Sport Express.[LNB]Promising"After our meeting Redknapp, I think, now understands better a few details concerning Roman.[LNB]"It seems to me that next year Pavlyuchenko has every chance to play for Tottenham."[LNB]Meanwhile, Pavlyuchenko has returned to training after a back injury but is facing a race against time to face West Brom on Saturday.[LNB]"The training session went as normal," he said.[LNB]"However, afterwards my back gave me some pain, and I barely slept all night.[LNB]"Whether I play (against West Brom) will only be decided on the day of the match."[LNB]
