[LNB]Sportsmail revealed that the 62-year-old faced a 'charge or charges' following a three-year investigation.[LNB]Redknapp, who has been given the full support of his club, has always denied any wrongdoing following an investigation into his financial affairs, which included him being arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud and false accounting in November 2007.[LNB] 'It's not a major issue,' Redknapp told BBC Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek programme. [LNB]'It's something that was done between myself and my ex-chairman, away from football, and it really is... well, it's unbelievable, I've got to be truthful. [LNB]'I can't comment on it, but it's farcical.'[LNB]A statement issued on Saturday night by his solicitors BCL Burton Copeland, acting for Redknapp, read : 'Harry Redknapp is extremely surprised and disappointed to have been informed that HMRC intend to institute proceedings against him in the week commencing January 11, 2010. [LNB]Spurs issued a statement backing their manager, who has masterminded a change in fortunes for the club since taking charge just over a year ago and taking the club up the Barclays Premier League table.
