Ossie for the Os: Tottenham legend Ardiles fancies Leyton Orient job
Back in the old routine: Ossie Ardiles during his time as Spurs boss during the 1993-94 season
Tottenham Hotspur legend Ossie Ardiles is interested in becoming manager of Leyton Orient.
Martin Ling left the O's by mutual consent yesterday and chairman Barry Hearn said: 'We shan't be advertising the position.
'I have half a dozen names in mind. We'll sit down later this week, sift through them and see where we go from there.'
Ardiles, who has managed Swindon, Newcastle, West Bromwich and Spurs, has not worked since leaving Paraguayan club Cerro Porteno last August.
The Argentine said: 'I would like to get back into management and the Orient job would interest me.'
