Old favourite Huddlestone wanted by former Spurs boss Jol at Hamburg

Stylish: Tom Huddlestone has caught the attention of his former club manager Jol also claimed he was the best player of his type and age in Europe and suspects his style may be well-suited to the continental game. Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is poised to spend£14m on Wigan midfielder Wilson Palacios and is under pressure to generate cash if he wants to carry on spending. Redknapp has earmarked Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley and Darren Bent as players with potential to command decent money but may be tempted by an offer for Huddlestone, who has been monitored closely by Blackburn and Everton in recent months.   More...
