O'Hara eyes Wembley role
Jamie O'Hara has told skysports.com how he is hoping to make up for lost time when Tottenham head to Wembley on Sunday.[LNB] Spurs are looking to successfully defend their Carling Cup crown this weekend, with Manchester United standing between them and back-to-back triumphs.[LNB]Juande Ramos led Tottenham to glory 12 months ago, overcoming capital rivals Chelsea in a pulsating encounter which required extra-time to find a winner.[LNB]O'Hara was forced to watch on from the sidelines that day, after being omitted from Ramos' squad.[LNB]However, the combative midfielder, who has figured prominently in Spurs' run to the final this time around, is hoping Harry Redknapp will award him an opportunity to erase his Wembley heartache against the Red Devils.[LNB]"I would be devastated to miss out again after last season, but hopefully I won't have that disappointment to face again," O'Hara told skysports.com.[LNB]Dream"If I'm fit, then hopefully I will be involved. The manager hasn't said anything yet about who will be involved, so I have got to try hard in training and show the manager that I'm ready.[LNB]"I don't want to be sitting in the stands on such a big occasion and hopefully I won't miss out on a big celebration."[LNB]O'Hara added: "They are a special side, probably the best side in the world at the moment, so it would be great to win. That's what people dream of, playing against Manchester United to win a trophy.[LNB]"We have to get in behind them inside the first 20 minutes and put them under pressure. Everyone knows how good Man Utd are when you let them have the ball, so we have to get into them and make them realise that they are in for a game. If we can get after them, and get us on top, then I think we can hurt them.[LNB]"United are on this great streak of not conceding goals but it's a cup final and anything can happen. We were the underdogs last year against Chelsea and we came through and won the game.
