Niko Kranjcar knows injury-time winner for Tottenham won't turn his season around

Niko Kranjcar might be Tottenham's hero for now but the Croat is not stupid enough to think his injury-time winner against Bolton will turn around his season.[LNB] Kranjcar has played just six matches in the Barclays Premier League this season - starting only once - but came off the bench to rescue Harry Redknapp's side and clinch a 2-1 home victory. [LNB] Take that! Kranjcar (centre) scored an injury-time winner for Spurs on Saturday [LNB]Spurs turned down a ?7million bid for Kranjcar from Werder Bremen in January but despite being desperate for first-team football, his wife Simona's pregnancy meant the 26-year-old midfielder chose to stay at White Hart Lane. [LNB]GRAHAM POLL: THE OFFICIAL LINE Mark Clattenburg failed to apply law consistently at Spurs. He got it wrong when cautioning Gary Cahill for simulation. Cahill should have been awarded a penalty as he was tripped by Steven Pienaar, unlike Sam Ricketts, who did play the ball before clipping Aaron Lennon. Not a good day for Clatts. [LNB]'There was a lot of frustration behind that goal,' said Kranjcar. 'It's been the hardest season for me. I'm not happy just to get paid my money, not play and just train. I've spoken to Harry about it and I think he understood me. I don't think I got the opportunity I was waiting for in January. My wife is pregnant and I wanted to stay with her. I wasn't desperate to leave. If the situation doesn't change then we will see in the summer. But I'd be a fool to say that because I scored against Bolton that I deserve to play now.' [LNB]Meanwhile, Gary Cahill's bizarre booking for supposedly diving when it appeared that Steven Pienaar tripped him in the box drew an angry response from Bolton boss Owen Coyle. [LNB]The decision was made worse by the two penalties awarded to Spurs. Rafael van der Vaart scored one but missed the retaken second.[LNB]  Tottenham 2 Bolton 1: Classy Kranjcar strikes as Wanderers pay the penaltyFrustrated Pavlyuchenko warns Tottenham: Use me or lose meSPURS VIDEO EXCLUSIVE: Peter Crouch scores in Yorkshire 'trial' match but returns to London 'where it's warmer' Tottenham Hotspur FC news from across the web [LNB]  Explore more:People: Graham Poll, Harry Redknapp, Gary Cahill, Aaron Lennon, Owen Coyle, Niko Kranjcar
