Niko Kranjcar eyes Luka Modric's place at Spurs

Midfielder Niko Kranjcar admits he is in limbo at Tottenham until the Luka Modric transfer saga plays out.[LNB]Modric is at odds with his employers as the player wants to move across London to Chelsea but Spurs have knocked back their latest ?27million bid.[LNB] Kranjcar has been heading for the exit at White Hart Lane since becoming disillusioned with his lack of first-team football last season. But an asking price of between ?8million and ?13m has so far discouraged potential suitors.
