Sulley Muntari could be set to end his miserable spell in Italy and leave Jose Mourinho's Serie A champions Inter Milan for Tottenham Hotspur in the New Year after the player's agent admitted the two clubs are in talks. Sulley Ali Muntari Redknapp reunion: Inter star Muntari could revive ties with his former Pompey boss at Tottenham The former Portsmouth player was jeered by the San Siro faithful last weekend when he was substituted in the win against Udinese and has struggled to hold down a regular first team place following his £12.7million arrival from Fratton Park last year. And a reunion with Harry Redknapp, the manager who paid £7m to sign the powerful Ghana international from Udinese in 2007, is now on the cards for January with the midfielder eager to play week-in ahead of the World Cup in South Africa next summer. Although Muntari dismissed reports suggesting his unhappiness in Italy last month, his representative Frank Schreier revealed interest from Spurs, saying: 'The two clubs are still talking about this case. It could happen.' Muntari, 25, blossomed as a Premier League star under the guidance of Redknapp, helping Pompey lift the FA Cup before his departure to Inter and his possible switch to White Hart Lane would do much to improve Tottenham's midfield in the absence of injured Croatian playmaker Luca Modric.
