Muntari was first linked to Spurs in the summer and, although Harry Redknapp insists he is not interested in the midfielder, speculation has continued to suggest the two could reunite at White Hart Lane.
Everton have also been linked with the former Portsmouth star but Muntari is focused on getting back into the Nerazzurri first team.
However the 26-year-old has refused to rule out a move away from San Siro in January.
He told Sky Sports' website: "I am working hard to get back in the good books of the manager.
"Transfer time is in the market, so I am not talking about moving, we will talk around January."
Spurs are also reported to be keen on Monaco striker Dieumerci Mbokani but the 24-year-old has only recently joined the French club and claims he is not thinking about a move away.
He said: "I am flattered by the interest shown by Spurs, but I love it at Monaco at the moment, so let's wait and see, you never know in football."
