Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric believes the team are in great shape as they look to break a 20-year hoodoo at Old Trafford.[LNB] Spurs head to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday evening having not won away to the Red Devils since December 1989, when Gary Lineker scored the only goal of the game.[LNB]Despite this, Croatia midfielder Modric is in confident mood ahead of the trip north and says the players have drawn confidence from their recent Champions League performance against Inter Milan at the San Siro, where they staged a superb second-half fightback before narrowly losing 4-3.[LNB]Modric told the club's official website: "We're ready, why not?[LNB]"We showed against Inter in the second half that we can compete with the best teams in the world and United is certainly one of the best teams in the world.[LNB]"But why not go there and try to win? I know Tottenham haven't won at Old Trafford for a long time, so why not now?[LNB]"It's the best stage to play, the best stadium and it will be a great game for us. I hope we can do something there."
