Milito and Frei attract Tottenham talk

Genoa say Tottenham's £10million bid for Diego Milito would only buy the striker's ear, while Alexander Frei claims Spurs want to sign him.Milito has been linked with a move away from Stadio Luigi Ferraris, with Spurs and Serie A giants Inter Milan mooted as interested parties. However Genoa have no intention of selling the Argentina striker, who has netted 16 goals for the club this season."Milito has already refused Tottenham in the past," Preziosi said. "They offered him a lot more than Genoa ever could."The £10million bid from Spurs is ridiculous. For that figure I would only give an English club the ear of Milito."Milito rejoined Genoa last summer from Real Zaragoza after he had left the Grifone in 2005 when they were relegated to Serie C.Borussia Dortmund striker Frei, meanwhile, claims that Tottenham are among a number teams who are chasing his signature. The 29-year-old has proven goalscoring pedigree with close to a goal every other game record in both France, for Rennes, and Germany.Newspaper reports in Switzerland stated that Napoli, Spurs and PSG were chasing the frontman and this has been confirmed by the player. The Switzerland international is said to be keen on a move after his relationship with Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp is believed to have become somewhat strained in recent times."We have been approached by Napoli, PSG and Tottenham," Frei confirmed.Although any deal may be scuppered by Klopp after he stated that he will not be forced into selling any of his star players."Every player on a deal beyond the end of the season is part of my future plans," he told Bild. "That's the fact in terms of Alex too. Neither Borussia nor I am working on a black-list. We are only thinking about selling when there comes in a bid for a player."No matter if these bids are for Frei, (Florian) Kringe, (Nuri) Sahin, (Nelson) Valdez, Dede or whoever from our squad."[LNB]
