Luka Modric is "one million per cent" staying at Spurs according to boss Harry Redknapp as he prepares to sign England's Scott Parker.

Chelsea have already failed with two bids to sign the Croatia midfielder but are said to be lining a third and final attempt to lure him to Stamford Bridge before the transfer deadline closes - with some reports suggesting a £40m deal could be on the table.Modric is keen to make the switch across London but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has insisted all along that the player is not for sale and Redknapp reiterated the stance when questioned as he arrived at Tottenham's training ground on Wednesday morning.

When asked if Modric would be leaving, the Redknapp replied to Sky Sports News: "No, that won't happen. One million per cent."Redknapp is expecting Parker to join his plans at White Hart Lane, though, in a £5m deal and the England midfielder is set to undergo a medical after handing in a transfer at West Ham on Tuesday night.Redknapp said: "I'm sure we'll get Scott sorted out."
