Heurelho Gomes claimed he is wanted by 'many' clubs but the Brazil goalkeeper is happy to stay with Tottenham Hotspur. After a shaky start to his Spurs career Gomes ended last season established behind a solid defence and manager Harrfy Redknapp has not been searching for another goalkeeper. Gomes said: 'I am very happy here and I have no idea what players Tottenham need. I think I had a very good second half to last season but the club decides my future, I don't decide these things.  'When Tottenham don't need me many clubs want me. They call me all the time but I want to stay here.' With Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate plus Michael Dawson injured and newsigning Sebastien Bassong suspended for the opening two BarclaysPremier League games Gomes will start the season with an unfamiliarcentral defensive partnership in front of him. He said: 'Vedran Corluka can play there, so can Tom Huddlestone. Thefans don't need to worry because there is quality in our group.'
