Lloris ignores Spurs concerns

France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has refused to get involved in the talk that he might have to wait to be number one at Tottenham.

France coach Didier Deschamps expressed his concern that Lloris could fail to oust Brad Friedel as first-choice keeper following his deadline day switch from Lyon. Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas warned Lloris after last weekend's draw with Norwich that he might struggle to play immediately, after Friedel produced an impressive performance against the Canaries. Lloris brushed aside speculation about his prospects at Spurs saying he is only focused on France's World Cup qualifier with Finland.

"About my personal situation, it is neither the right place nor the right moment to talk about it," said Lloris.

"I am only sure I am perfectly focused in the best way on French team and at the coach disposal for the start of WC qualifier. "I believe I can be professional and take things into consideration. Today I am only focused on the French team objective."
