PREMIER LEAGUE Wolves 3 Tottenham 3 FT [LNB]Liverpool 3 Man United 1 FT [LNB]FULL TIME: Wolves 3 Tottenham 3[LNB]You'll be hard pushed to find a game with more entertainment this season - and it ends all square, a thrilling 90 minutes with a result that suits neither side. Spurs fail to further their Champions League challenge, Wolves remain planted in the bottom three. But what a game! [LNB] Super sub! Fletcher celebrates his late equaliser against Spurs[LNB]93min: Both teams look dead on their feet, but with so much space opening up, don't rule out a winner right at the death of this game...[LNB]90min: Four minutes added on... who wants to be the hero? [LNB]87min: GOAL! Wolves 3 Tottenham 3 (Steven Fletcher) [LNB]How many twists and turns can you fit into one game? Wolves get a thoroughly deserved equaliser, Fletcher nods a deep cross into the far corner, past Gomes' despairing dive. Plenty of time for a winner, too![LNB]85min: Spurs break again, Sandro's header finds Defoe who, in turn rolls to Kranjcar bursting into the box. The Croatian is blocked off and the ball runs to Lennon but his effort cannons off a defenders head. [LNB]83min: Off the post! Defoe denied his hat-trick after a nonsense in the Wolves defence allows Sandro timew to square to the unmarked forward who rapped his drive off the upright. [LNB]82min: I fancy Mick McCarthy will have a few choice words about Halsey after this game. [LNB]79min: Disallowed goal. Total confusion, Wolves have been robbed of a perfectly decent goal. Steven Fletcher's deep cross is collected by Gomes who chucks the ball into his own net under a challenge from Stearman. No flag from the assistant so Halsey has clearly just changed his mind. Incredible.[LNB]75min: Two changes: Steven Fletcher is on for Hammill and Aaron Lennon replaces Pavlyuchenko. [LNB] High jump: Pienaar evades Elokobi's sliding tackle [LNB]74min: What a chance for Wolves. Jarvis's cut back from just inside box finds Ebanks-Blake in acres of space, but he snatches at his chance which cannons off his standing ankle and loops harmlessly wide. [LNB]71min: Two early bursts down the wing from Bale show exactly what the side have been missing since his back injury enforced absence. Elokobi is chasing shadows as Bale zooms up the left, Modric and Defoe conspire to waste a guilt-edged opportunity from inside the box.[LNB]69min: A welcome sight for Spurs fans three days ahead of the Champions League clash with AC Milan... Gareth bale is introduced into the action. In fact, it's good news for Spurs fans in this game as Tottenham are struggling to impose themselves in this middle third, they very much need the expansive wing play of the Wales winger right mow. He's on in Pienaar's stead. [LNB]64min: Fine save! Wolves came *this close* to equalising as Milijas tremendous low drive is finger-tipped around the post by Gomes. Spurs burst straight up the other end, Defoe speeds onto Jenas's long ball but Hennessey is there just in time to snaffle up the opportunity. [LNB]61min: Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is on for Stephen Ward. Wolves go 4-4-2...[LNB]59min: William Gallas hasn't covered himself in glory over the last couple of minutes. Caught in possession high up the field, Doyle very nearly took advantage of quick break. The France international then dragged Doyle down after finding himself the wrong side of the forward and conceded a free kick. [LNB]56min: Decent free kick is whipped into the box, Spurs' defence hesitates but Ward can't connect with another centre. Cracking game at them moment. [LNB] From Russia with love: Pavlyuchenko hammers home Tottenham's third[LNB]54min: It's all blood and thunder now as the challenges fly in. Tottenham look sharp on the counter, but give away possession and Dawson is shown a yellow for a late challenge on Hammill. [LNB]50min: I rather fancy that isn't the end of the scoring today. Wolves come close to an instant leveller as Ward just fails to connect with a header, eight yards out.  [LNB]48min: GOAL! Wolves 2 Tottenham 3 (Roman Pavlyuchenko) [LNB]What a start to the half! Pavlyuchenko receives the ball from Jenas, touches inside the defenders and lashes home into the roof of the net from a couple of yards inside[LNB] the box. [LNB]SECOND HALF: No changes at half time to either side. Interestingly, we hear that referee Mark Halsey believes that Hutton's challenge on Milijas did not prevent a clear goal scoring opportunity. I'd beg too differ. Anyway, we're back underway now. [LNB]HALF TIME: Wolves 2 Tottenham 2[LNB]Wolves have totally dominated the half but find themselves level at half time courtesy of some stunning finishing from Jermain Defoe. [LNB]A cracking half in which the hosts created the greater volume of chances, and will feel aggrieved that Spurs go in at half time with the full compliment of players after Halsey failed to show Hutton a red card late on. [LNB]45min: We'll have two minutes added on. [LNB] Stunner: Defoe curls home his second goal to edge Spurs in front[LNB]43min: Wolves have been buoyed by that second goal. They're pushing Spurs on to the back foot, but are struggling to get quality ball into the box. Milijas swivels and volleys from the edge of the box but sees his attempt zoom miles over the bar. [LNB]39min: GOAL! Wolves 2 Tottenham 2 (Kevin Doyle, penalty)[LNB]Doyle sends the ball to Gomes's right, the keeper went the other way and Wolves are level. [LNB]38min: PENALTY TO WOLVES![LNB]Referee Halsey points to the spot after Hutton tugs on Milijas's shirt as the midfielder attempted to pick up a loose ball in the box. he was the last man, too but is only shown a yellow card. [LNB]37min: They don't deserve to be losing just now, Wolves have been the better of the two sides: more entertaining and harder working, but they've been stung by two incredible strikes. Defoe is down receiving some treatment, looks lie he'll back up soon enough. [LNB]34min: GOAL! Wolves 1 Tottenham 2 (Jermain Defoe) [LNB]If you thought the first was a cracker, it's possible that goal has just trumped it. Defoe curls a delicious strike from about 25 yards out into the top-right hand corner of the net, Hennessey had no chance. [LNB] Given the nod: Doyle's glancing header puts Wolves in front[LNB]31min: GOAL! Wolves 1 Tottenham 1 (Jermain Defoe) [LNB]His first goal from open play in a year, his first goal away from home in 13 months... but it was well worth the wait! Defoe picks up the ball, 30 yards out, steps across from the centre and thrashes the ball past Hennessey. Stunning strike. [LNB]30min: A proper battle this one, a blood and thunder, no holds barred encounter. Exactly the kind of game Spurs don't want three days before a Champions League clash with AC Milan. [LNB]27min: Good news for Spurs fans: Jermain Defoe just kicked the ball. Well, it's a step forward for the striker who is yet to register a league goal this season.[LNB]24min: A brace of chances go begging for Spurs who are almost immediately back on terms. Pienaar slapped the ball into the side netting from an acute angle and Modric's tame effort rolled wide when he had options to his right on the edge of the box. [LNB]20min: GOAL! Wolves 1 Tottenham 0 (Kevin Doyle)[LNB]Following a sustained period of pressure Spurs finally crack. A simple goal: Doyle meets the cross from wide, glancing a header from a couple of yards out to hand the hosts the lead. [LNB]17min: Best chance of the half. William Gallas allowed Nenad Milijas space in the box but the Serbian midfielder couldn't control his header from 10 yards out. [LNB]15min: Spurs enjoy a lengthy period of pressure, zipping the ball around to feet deep inside the Wolves half. But then a rush of blood to Pavlyuchenkjo's head sees the Russian run deep into the hosts defence and is easily dispossessed. [LNB] Midfield tussle: Pienaar and Elokobi battle for the ball[LNB]11min: Best opening for the hosts: Jarvis looked dangerous on the Wolves left, cutting inside Hutton and lunching a decent ball into the box. But Gomes leapt high to claim the ball. [LNB]7min: Rather timid start at Molineux. Some nice touches from Spurs in midfield, but that's a given from them nowadays. Defoe almost latches on to a lofted through-ball but Hennessey is out of his area quickly to clear the danger. [LNB]4min: Noise levels rise as Doyle escapes down the right 7channel, he twists and turns Hutton[LNB] inside out and wins a corner. Dead ball is whipped and Gomes punches clear, Berra attempts an athletic volley but sends the ball zooming miles over.[LNB]1min: Early chance for Spurs: Modric from the left, centres to Pavlyuchenko who pulls out of his shot which rolls tamely to Hennessey.[LNB]KICK OFF: Tottenham in their white shirts and blue shorts face Wolves in their famous gold strip who get the game off and running...[LNB]15.58pm: On-pitch tribute to Richards with his wife and two young children, former team-mates and representatives from the two clubs. [LNB] Tribute: Former team-mates and family pay their respects to Dean Richards[LNB]15.53pm: The reward for Wolves is a simple one: win by a couple of goals today and they will move out of the drop zone. Simples. [LNB]15.48pm: Touching commemoration to the sadly missed Dean Richards ahead of today's match on Sky. There will be a period of remembrance before the start of the game. [LNB]15.40pm: So, how frustrating has Tottenham's recent form been for Harry Redknapp... victory over AC Milan at the San Siro was followed up by defeat at Blackpool. [LNB]It's the kind of form which will see them become one-season wonders in the Champions League unless they buck up their ideas against opposition such as Mick McCarthy's Wolves who won this fixture last season. [LNB]15.29pm: Right, we'll let the dust settle on the clash at Anfield and turn our attentions to Molineux where relegation threatened Wolves host Champions League chasers Spurs... after I've popped out for a quick cup of tea, of course. [LNB]FULL TIME: Liverpool 3 Man United 1 [LNB]Wolves v Spurs - teams Wolverhampton: Hennessey, Foley, Stearman, Berra, Elokobi, Hammill, Henry, Ward, Milijas, Jarvis, Doyle. Subs: Hahnemann, Craddock, Ebanks-Blake, Fletcher, Mouyokolo, Griffiths, Doherty.[LNB]Tottenham: Gomes, Hutton, Dawson, Gallas, Assou-Ekotto, Pienaar, Jenas, Sandro, Modric, Defoe, Pavlyuchenko. Subs: Cudicini, Bale, Lennon, Palacios, Crouch, Bassong, Kranjcar.[LNB]Referee: Mark Halsey[LNB]A hat-trick for Dirk Kuyt throws the Premier League title door wide open. Liverpool jump up one place in to sixth with the three points, United remain top by three points but have played a game more than second place Arsenal. [LNB]92min: GOAL! Liverpool 3 Man United 1 (Hernandez)[LNB]United have their (little deserved) consolation. Neat header by Hernandez, from near the penalty spot, into the far corner. [LNB]90min: We'll have three minutes added on...[LNB]88min: Huge ovation for Suarez who is replaced by Joe Cole and Liverpool should have had their fourth goal, after Gerrard's side-footed effort from the edge of the box squeaks past Van der Sar's upright. [LNB]86min: Bravo!Suarez treats us to some more delightful play, mugging Evra on theleft, then skipping nonchalantly past Brown before shanking his shotmiles wide. Kuyt will rightly win the headlines but the Uruguayan hasbeen stunning this afternoon. [LNB]83min: PaulScholes is booked for, you've guessed it, a poorly executed tackle andis then promptly hooked by Sir Alex, replaced by Darren Fletcher. [LNB] Cometh the hour: Carroll takes his first steps onto the pitch as a Liverpool player[LNB]82min: Berbatov and Johnson enjoy a fair old tussle on the right wing. United are awarded a corner which is nodded around the box and then booted clear. If the truth be known, United don't deserve a goal, let alone any points from this game, they've been dreadful. [LNB]77min: Aaah, that's a nice touch, the Kop serenade King Kenny on his 60th with a rendition of Happy Birthday to You. Rooney picks out O'Shea on the right, his cross is blocked and the return is lumped industrially upfield by Kyrgiakos. [LNB]75min: In response to Liverpool bringing on their lofty new striker, United swap Rafael for John O'Shea. [LNB]74min: No pressure lad, you only cost ?35m. Huge ovation for Liverpool's brand new No 9, Andy Carroll. His first touch is to meet a free kick which he nods into Van der Sar's hands. [LNB]72min: Settle your nerves... looks like Carroll's coming on.  [LNB] Three and easy: Kuyt taps home his third goal in front of the Kop[LNB]70min: You enjoying this, Arsenal fans? But then you probably wish you'd won yesterday. Thins would be looking much better if the Gunners had beaten Sunderland. [LNB]68mins: How many do Liverpool want? United are all at sea here, the hosts could really rub it in during this last 20-odd minutes. [LNB]65min: GOAL Liverpool 3 Man United 0 (Dirk Kuyt - hat-trick)[LNB]There it is, Kuyt's hat-trick and that is curtains for United. Some more woeful defending allows Kuyt to ghost in to clips home the rebound from Suarez's free kick. Van der Sar will be disappointed that he couldn't hold on to the initial shot, but will question where his defence were with the Liverpool man lurking. That's Kuyt's first hat-trick for Liverpool, too. [LNB]61min: United win a free kick in a decent position, 20 yards out, dead centre. But Ryan Giggs fails to mark his record-breaking 607th league appearance for United with a goal as he curls his effort over the bar. [LNB]58min: United win a corner which zips over the heads, Rooney touches it back in and Berbatov heads goalwards but Meireles clears off the line. Here's a scrap of hope for United fans (via Opta): Only Aston Villa (21) and Sunderland (20) have thrown away more points from winning positions than Liverpool (16) this season.[LNB] Brace yourself: Kuyt wheels away after nodding Liverpool's second... and there was more to come from the Dutchman[LNB]55min: Boom! Chance for United as Rooney squares to Giggs who swivels and fires a touch over the bar from the edge of the box. Decent effort, that. [LNB]52min: Wayne Rooney (yes, he is playing) scampers off down the United right, hounded by Kuyt who snaps at his heels and eventually concedes a free kick. And that is the sum total of Rooney's efforts so far today. [LNB]48min: Swashbuckling start to the half: Liverpool come close to adding a third as Suarez's delightful dink into the box finds Agger whose centre is collected by Van der Sar as Gerrard lurked. And then United go close after Berbatov's cross found Hernandez who couldn't control his shot. [LNB]SECOND HALF: We're back off and running. No changes to either side... apart from the introduction of Javier Hernandez for Nani which came just before the end of the first half which I forgot to mention at the time. Soz. [LNB]HALF TIME: Liverpool 2 Man United 0 [LNB]And breathe... Liverpool take a much deserved lead in at the break, and United are lucky to end with the full compliment of players. A thoroughly entertaining first 45 marked by some shocking defending from the visitors which allowed the hosts to take a two goal advantage. Sir Alex's side have a lot to do if they are to take anything from this one. [LNB] Handbags: Nani collapses in a heap following Carragher's hefty challenge[LNB]49min: More aggro! Rafael da Silva throws himself into a two-legged, studs showing over the top of the ball challenge at Martin Skrtel. Cue pandemonium as the players push and shove and point fingers and all that other stuff. Referee Dowd watches the players scrap and then shows yellows to the young United defender and Agger. That's a red card if I've ever seen one[LNB]45min: The first half is ending in a shambles. Jamie Carragher's robust tackle on Nani is the catalyst for some handbags as a gaggle of players come together to shout the odds. Nani gets up to remonstrate with the ref, then collapses in a heap in actual floods of tears. Carragher is shown a yellow card, as is Van der Sar for some words shared. [LNB]43min: Unitedlook totally clueless at the moment. Barely stringing two passestogether and when they, they slide across midfield, rather than intoany attacking channels. [LNB]41min: United should bring Scholes, Giggs and Rooney on at half time... hang on. [LNB] Heads I win: Kuyt nods home Liverpool's second[LNB]39min: GOAL Liverpool 2 Man United 0 (Dirk Kuyt) [LNB]Absoluteshambles in the United defence hands Kuyt the easiest of goals.Johnson's hopeful cross was headed back towards his own goal by Nani,Smalling jumped and missed his clearing header and Kuyt was there tonod home from five yards to double Liverpool's lead. [LNB] 37min: United are shocked. Liverpool are swarming all over the league leaders who can't get out of their own half, let alone hold onto possession for any length of time. [LNB]33min: GOAL! Liverpool 1 Man United 0 (Dirk Kuyt) [LNB]Kuyt is awarded the goal, but 99.99 per cent of the credit needs to go to Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan skipped past the challenges on the left-hand touchline, passing three United defenders and prodded the ball through Van der Sar's legs to Kuyt who crashed the ball home from two inches out! [LNB]29min: Berbatovblasts the ball high over the bar from an acute angle, but theassistant's flag was raised for a touch-and-go offside decision. TheBulgarian will feel aggrieved, but the visitors should be pleasedthey're finally making chances after an anonymous opening 20 minutes. [LNB]25min: Finally,Sky co-commentator Glenn Hoddle springs into life, exuding joy afterwatching Berbatov control a high ball, about 10 yards insideLiverpool's half. Not sure he's the man to cal this game. [LNB] Goal! Kuyt taps the ball over the line to give Liverpool the lead[LNB] 23min: Sotirios Kyrgiakos comes on for Aurelio. Ad United have the chance to take their delayed corner which is thumped towards the near post, bundled goalwards and cleared by Agger. [LNB]22min: Time for a breather. Fabio Aurelio hits the deck, holding onto his hamstring. Looks like he will have to come off. [LNB]18min: Another wonderfully worked move from Liverpool very nearly breaks the deadlock. Johnson's cross field centre found Meireles who nodded down to Kuyt eight yards out, but the ball bounced just inches past the Dutchman's outstretched right boot. [LNB]16min: Off the post! Wow, from nothing, Dimitar Berbatov slaps a shot from 20-odd yards out which dips past Pep Reina and bounces off the keeper's right-hand upright. Super effort. [LNB]15min: Perfectly-timed interception by Chris Smalling cuts out Dirk Kuyt's burst into the box. United clear their lines, but the pressure is building on Van der Sar's goal. [LNB] Record-breaker: Giggs - making his 607th league appearance for United - holds off the attentions of Agger at Anfield[LNB]13min: United enjoy a brief spell on the ball, Scholes finds Giggs inside right. The Welshman slides the ball into Nani but Aurelio intercepts. [LNB]12min: Glenn Hoddle: fabulously gifted footballer; incredibly dull co-commentator. [LNB]8min: Boom! Suarez fancies his chances from 30 yards out after spotting Van der Sar off his line. But as his effort sails over the bar, the Anfield Road Stand and out across the Merseyside skyline, he'll probably wish he hadn't had a pop from there. [LNB]5min: Hooooraaaaaay! Fans in the Kop End express their delight as Nani's heavy touch runs the ball out of play for a goal kick. [LNB]3min: All Liverpool in the early stage, Suarez ghosted into the box and failed to connect cleanly from a couple of yards out. The hosts are moving the ball fluidly across misfield and down the wide channels. [LNB]KICK OFF: Rooney rolls the ball to Rooney and United, in their white change strip get the game off and running, kicking towards the Kop End.[LNB]1.28pm: Ahhh, the strains of the Lightning Seeds' classic The Life of Riley pour out of the Anfield PA system. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Actually, they do... try the new album by The Villagers, top stuff. I digress, players are on their way out, football for you in a few moments. [LNB] Handy Andy: Dalglish will throw Carroll into the action if Liverpool need him today[LNB]1.24pm: Do I need to tell you there is already a cracking atmosphere at a sun-drenched Anfield? Thought not. [LNB]1.16pm: Dalglish answers the 'will Carroll play' question in a typically forthright manner: 'He's not there to be an ornament. if we need to put him on, we will.'[LNB]1.10pm: Oh, and your mate and mine, Sepp Blatter, has stuck his oar into the Wayne Rooney elbowing saga. Apparently, the FA could have taken retrospective action. Have a read of that here. [LNB]1pm: Sir Alex has been making all the headline this week after his outburst at referee Martin Atkinson. But Kenny Dalglish and Rafa Benitez have hit back at what they think is Fergie's bad attitude towards officials. More here. [LNB]12.52pm: The breaking news is that Andy Carroll starts from the bench for Liverpool, Steven Gerrard is in the starting line-up and Ryan Giggs makes his record-breaking 607th league appearance for United. [LNB]Liverpool v Man United - teams Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Aurelio, Gerrard, Lucas, Kuyt, Meireles, Maxi, Suarez.Subs: Gulacsi, Carroll, Cole, Kyrgiakos, Ngog, Spearing, Poulsen.Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Smalling, Brown, Evra, Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Berbatov, Rooney.Subs: Kuszczak, Hernandez, Fabio Da Silva, O'Shea, Fletcher, Obertan, Gibson.Referee: Phil Dowd[LNB]12.50pm: Here's a poser for you: does anyone actually want to win this season's Premier League title? [LNB]Arsenal failed to capitalise on Manchester United's midweek defeat to Chelsea, can United now grasp the nettle, beat North West rivals Liverpool - boosted by the inclusion of the most expensive player in British history - and move six points clear at the top of the table? [LNB]Questions, questions.[LNB]Afternoon all and welcome to Sportsmail's coverage of Liverpool versus United from Anfield. It should be a cracker. [LNB]Early whispers are that Andy Carroll is in and Sir Alex has Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand missing in defence so will have to pair Chris Smalling and Wes Brown at the back.
