Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe says his life has been put in perspective by the death of his half-brother. Jade, 26, died in hospital last week from serious head injuries after being attacked. Defoe, who is in the squad to face West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane today, said: 'My mum turned up at the training ground and I knew instantly something was wrong. It puts everything else into perspective. 'The things you thought were really important, the most important things in life, you realise they are not.'
