Lennon set to mark new lease of life with return from international wilderness

Bouncing back: Lennon's form for Spurs has earned him an England recall While Liverpool may have a strong claim to being team of the month, few players have enjoyed a better March than Aaron Lennon and it is set to get even greater with his expected return from the international wilderness this weekend. Lennon is on course to finally win the 10th cap of his England career against Slovakia on Saturday, a full two years since he picked up his ninth. It will officially mark the resurrection of his international fortunes and, with the World Cup just 15 months away, his timing couldn't be better. He certainly deserves his place in Fabio Capello's squad, with his performances for Tottenham being so good of late that he was rewarded with a new contract last week. Manchester United may have won the Carling Cup at the start of the month, yet Lennon earned most of the plaudits for an inspired display against the Premier League leaders. Since then, he has also scored twice in Spurs' League win against Middlesbrough and set up the deciding goal in their 1-0 victory over rivals Chelsea.
