Lennon pleased with return

Aaron Lennon feels his return to the England team in midweek could not have gone much better. The Tottenham winger was drafted back into the fold by boss Fabio Capello after making a positive start to the domestic season. He only made the bench for Saturday's friendly date with Slovenia, but was recalled to the starting XI for Wednesday's crunch clash with Croatia. Lennon was at his buccaneering best in the 2010 World Cup qualifier, playing a major role in a 5-1 success which booked England's ticket to South Africa. He feels the Three Lions can now go on to end their Group 6 campaign with a 100 per cent record, while he has also admitted to being pleased with his own form this term. "I have started the season well and just tried to carry on what I had been doing at Spurs," he said after the Wembley showdown. "Luckily for me, it went my way and I did quite well. My game is to try to get into the full-back as much as I possibly can. "We got the ball out wide a lot but the whole team was brilliant. We want to win every game and do not want to come out of this run. "Winning games is a great feeling and we want to continue to win all the games in the group and I do not see why we cannot do that."
