Aaron Lennon has returned to Tottenham with a minor hamstring complaint. The winger had been pencilled in for a starting slot in England's friendly with Ghana at Wembley on Tuesday night. However, Lennon felt some discomfort after Monday's training session and rather than take any risks, Fabio Capello has allowed him to return to Spurs. It is not anticipated Lennon will have to miss Tottenham's Premier League clash with Wigan at the DW Stadium on Saturday. However, after releasing five senior players on Sunday, Capello was only being consistent in his handling of Lennon, whose side tackle Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday week. The Football Association have confirmed there will be no replacement called into the Three Lions squad.
