Lennon eyes seventh heaven

Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon believes the club can qualify for Europe through a top-seven finish.

After battling at the wrong end of the table for most of the season, Spurs are now looking upwardly mobile following an improved run of form.

Spurs sit just three points behind seventh-placed Wigan in the table following Saturday's impressive 1-0 victory over title-chasing Chelsea.

Lennon is confident Spurs can end the season on a high after a difficult campaign and he has set his sights on finishing in the top seven.

"If you look at the way we have been playing, teams are now fearing us - you can tell by the way teams are setting up to play us," Lennon told the Daily Star.

"Hopefully we can kick on now and push for seventh.

"Since I've been here, the club has got better and better.

Ups and downs"There have been a few ups and downs but it shows how good we are when we play like we did against Chelsea.

"We are three points off West Ham and have still got to play them at home. I still think we can catch them.

"With a bit of luck, hopefully we can secure that seventh spot."
